7. eCommerce Store [1]

This web site is for collectors of matchbox labels and associated material. It has no connection with matchbox model cars or any die cast models.
The site has been designed to accommodate the latest browsers and computer systems. However, it is fully compatible to many earlier
versions. Ideally, a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 or greater should be used but resolutions down to 1024 x 768 can be
accommodated but, usually with a lesser degree of sharpness and a likelihood of both vertical & horizontal scrolling.

When I first contemplated an eCommerce Store to support this web site, I believed it could be included within the pages of this site. It quickly became apparent that for the store to function in the best interests of you the visitor/customer it would be necessary to place it on it’s own server and not the same one that is used to host this web site.

Additionally, because of the large volume of material that will be offered and the security needed for both the store and it’s customers, I decided that I would host it on a server that utilizes separate databases and a scripting language other than HTML.

Therefore, I am pleased to announce that The Home Of Phillumeny eCommerce Store which is known as “The Sussex Matchbox Labels eStore is available by clicking on the text link below. Please be advised that this store will open in a completely new browser window and everything about the store is directly available from there.

Visitors to the eStore should note that I am constantly adding new items to all areas of the store and that the pages show examples of the new items added. Whilst some material is added during the week, a bulk upload is made at some stage over the weekend period and visitors are asked to check back often.

Additionally, I would also like to point out that whilst I have more than one of some of the labels, there are often cases when only one label is available.
