As with so much nowadays, the majority regretfully have to be beholden to the minority. It is for the minority that these pages are here.

I have spent many hours, days and weeks of my life preparing this web site for the benefit of all. It is hoped that with the support and assistance of fellow collectors alike that this web site, will be "The Place" on the World Wide Web for anyone who has an interest in Phillumeny to visit.

Unfortunately, for the sake of a few, it is necessary to have in writing a simple set of instructions that anyone visiting this site must accept whether they have physically read them or not. Ignorance of the law, whether natural, civil, criminal or moral is not a justified excuse.

Guest Books:
It is my intention to upload a number of Guest Books to the site where visitors can make constructive comments on how to improve the site or can post comments on what they think of the site. These Guest Books will be area specific and will be available for public viewing. Any comments posted must be in a way as to not offend or imply discrimination. In particular, I personally do not like shortened text names for countries such as Jap for Japan or Japanese. I therefore ask that visitors respect my wishes and use country names in full where an abbreviation could appear disrespectful.

All guest book entries require the e-mail field to be completed. Where a message is considered to be in poor taste, it will be removed and the originator advised as such. I can moderate the messages but I would rather not do so.

Forms to E-mail:
As with the Guest Books, I anticipate having Forms to E-mail pages within specific areas of the web site. The pages will be subject specific and are entirely different to the e-mail addresses listed in the E-mail area of the web site. Please only use them for the subjects they are intended for. Should you need to contact me about the web site or any other matters not subject specific, then please use the facilities available via the e-mail contacts menu displayed in the left margin of the site.

For Sale, Exchange & Wants Pages:
As time permits, it is my intention to encourage other collectors to make use of the facilities on my web site so that they can place advertisements for labels and associated material on custom pages relating to For Sale, Exchange or Wants Pages. However, advertisers on those pages will be expected to respond to any enquiries promptly and efficiently. In addition, where items have been sold, exchanged or the wants fulfilled, the advertiser as a matter of courtesy is requested to notify the web master in the Form to E-mail for that page.

Items for sale or exchange must be clearly and accurately described. Whilst "caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware) applies to these adverts, it is illegal and could lead to criminal prosecution if someone deliberately leaves out an important point from the description.

In concluding a sale or exchange, the seller or individual exchanging should promptly dispatch the item bought or exchanged. Advertisers will be banned from using the site if it is found that they have deliberately withheld the item after it has been purchased or an exchange agreed.
